It is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the Thermophiles 2007 international conference which will be held in Bergen, Norway from 24 – 27 September 2007. This is the 9th meeting of a series of successful conferences on thermophilic microorganisms that started in Italy in 1990. The goal of this conference is to review the recent progress of research on thermophiles, covering scientific disciplines and applications. 

Opening lecture by Dr. Karl Stetter.

Scandic Bergen City is the venue for the conference. Scandic Bergen City is a modern conference hotel with 251 rooms of high standard. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen with shops, theatres and the fishermans wharf within walking distance.
